Community Partnerships and Center for Families sought out Candorem as a strategic partner to help them merge their well-respected non-profits into one super group like The Highwaymen, Temple of the Dog, or Cream.
In true rockstar fashion, we brought together 60 stakeholders, locked them in a room, broke all the furniture, and emerged with the making of a new brand. Well, maybe not the furniture part…

the merger
two teams combining to become one
Both teams had extraordinary values and motivations within their staff. The hard part was combining the two teams into one super hero team of people. Candorem led a workshop for over 60 participants to discover what their mutual values, goals and principles were, in addition to determining what the organization would need to conquer.
the strategy
brainstorm, sketch, revise
Over the course of the next couple of months a smaller stakeholder team from CP and CFF met regularly with Candorem to fine tune the details of the branding for the new organization. Each meeting took the form of a mini-workshop where we would focus on keyword exercises to describe characteristics the brand would represent.
After hundreds of sticky notes, hard work, and a lot of laughter, RISE was born.
the solution
a new voice, a new brand
RISE, Helping Community and Family Thrive, was formally unveiled at the annual Circle of Hope fundraising gala to much fanfare. They’ve gone on to successfully implement the brand style guides into other campaigns, marketing materials, and social media.
With a focus on community based strengths-driven services to children, families and young adults, RISE provides service to over 6,800 individuals annually.
