Process Retail Group

Website Re-Design

Overview

Process Retail Group, a global point of sale, point of purchase, and retail marketing company headquartered in Milwaukee, WI needed to revamp their corporate website. They also wanted to build a microsite to be used as a marketing tool and a video giving an inside look at all of the things their employees are capable of right here in Wisconsin.

With Candorem’s expertise in strategy and enthusiasm for taking on multi-faceted projects, we jumped right in with a discovery workshop to determine client and user needs and timelines.

the challenge

a step by step process

The first step of the project, was to create wireframes so that we were able to determine both a user’s needs and the client’s goals. By strategizing the locations of links, navigation, and content, the ux of a website was made a priority. After that, we then focused on  the visuals of the site like photography, branding, fonts, and video elements.

changing focus

In order to both exceed user expectation and meet client goals, we shifted the core focus of the website towards marketing to attract new customers and potential employees. Using bright colors, photo galleries and product videos, the company was able to showcase their capabilities in hopes of intriguing new clients to work with and attracting potential employees to hire.

a behind the scenes look at PRG

While designing the new website, Candorem took on another piece to the project: a video. PRG wanted to include footage touring their manufacturing facilities to add in elements showcasing the talent behind the products.

Candorem had full creative control and filmed documentary style, with un-staged footage. The video was shot over the course of two days (two hours per day), to capture different things. One day looked at on-site manufacturing, while the other focused on design and front office personnel with b-roll shots of awards and details of their portfolio work.

“I wanted to change our image as a conservative company to one that has a great passion for our work and our people. After interviewing several companies, it was apparent that Candorem was the right partner. They had many of the same attributes that we had and understood our vision.”

“Candorem was very collaborative and open to our suggestions while providing valuable expertise and insights.
It proved to be a great experience and I can say with certainty that Candorem was by far the correct partner for Process Retail Group.“
