Small Local Agency Delivers Big Television Commercial for Better Business Bureau

Lake Mills, WI, October 5, 2016 – Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin selected Candorem, a small award winning strategic marketing company, to produce their new consumer-driven “Ask BBB” television campaign.

It began when Candorem was approached to perform an in-depth audit of BBB Serving Wisconsin’s past marketing strategies for business-to-business (B2B) campaigns. That resulted in an in-depth fifty-two-page marketing playbook to help guide new online marketing strategies and led into an exciting new opportunity.

“BBB came to us to produce their new ‘Ask BBB’ campaign during the summer. Of the agencies they spoke with, they felt that we had the best understanding of their brand, demographics, and expectations of what needed to be delivered based on our marketing playbook from earlier in the year.” said Joshua Garity, Principal of Candorem. “Working with a small, local, agency in Wisconsin also further establishes their focus toward providing opportunities for trustworthy businesses within the state.”

Candorem wrote, produced, and directed the “Haunted House” spot that premiered this week on A&E, Comedy Central, CNN, Discovery, FX, MTV, USA, and TNT in all markets throughout the state of Wisconsin. It will continue to run 40,000 times over the next twelve months.

Candorem was originally founded in 2004 as a film production company under a different name. They worked with independent filmmakers to craft engaging characters, improve storytelling elements, and market films with story-driven interactive websites.

Utilizing the behavior psychology behind those marketing strategies they pivoted into the corporate marketing world fluidly and have since worked with other Wisconsin-based organizations like American Family Insurance, Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin, Verlo Mattress, Process Retail Group, Global Finishing Solutions, and Henry Vilas Zoo.
